FAQ's about our trainings

• Can we shorten the time of training?

  The given time frame is the recommendation of Scaled Agile Inc. who have created it based on many years of experience. The time frame has proven to be optimal in order to convey the desired knowledge and at the same time to have enough time left for exercises and potential questions. However, it is quite possible that we can get through the agenda much faster on some training days, so that the training can be finished sooner. At the same time, it is also possible to talk about open questions afterwards. 

• Is the training interactive or are recorded videos provided?

  Our trainings are interactive and therefore not recorded, not even the remote trainings. We want to encourage personal exchange, answer questions in between and be able to respond individually to the participants. 

• Do I need any specific technical equipment to participate?

  Regardless of whether the training takes place remotely or on-site, we recommend an additional screen to be able to use the training system in parallel. For online training, in addition to the screens, the use of a headset/microphone and webcam is advantageous, as this allows us to create an interactive atmosphere. 

• Does it make sense to book several trainings?

  It depends on your internal requirements which training courses are useful. It is possible to book several trainings. Depending on your level of knowledge, we will recommend the appropriate training courses or modules. Individual contents are addressed in different training courses.

• From when can we get appointment proposals?

  The SAFe trainings take place in regular intervals. Please have a look at the already scheduled training dates. If there is an acute need, we can look together for possible dates and send you suggestions. As soon as you order the trainings, we can agree on a date. 

• Is there a possibility to receive training materials?

  In advance of the training, we will send you the documents that will be discussed during the training, so that you can get an impression of the topics beforehand.

• Where will the training take place?

  As a rule, we offer training courses remotely, as everyone can best assimilate the learning content in their familiar environment.
  However, when booking the training, you can choose whether you would prefer to conduct the training online or at your location. Please keep in mind that we charge a surcharge for on-site trainings in the DACH region to cover our travel expenses. 

• What are the differences between the all-day training courses and the individual training modules?

  The conception of the one-day training courses is based on many years of experience and topics that make sense for many companies in this combination and are frequently requested. 
  
  However, if you would like to compile your training content flexibly and independently according to your needs, you are welcome to leave us a message for this purpose. We will then work out an individual schedule together with you, which we can then train remotely or on-site at your company. 

• Do participants have the chance to interactively participate in the training?

  Of course! The interactive exchange between trainer and participants is very important to us. You will search in vain for a trainer who never stops talking. In order to prepare you in the best possible way for your future tasks, we design our training courses to be interactive. In addition to the knowledge that we impart to you in a user-oriented manner, you will have plenty of time for exercises and can ask questions at any time. 

• Is it possible to postpone or cancel the training date?

  If your training date is already fixed, you have the possibility to cancel or postpone the training three working days before the agreed date free of charge. If the three days have already passed, no free cancellation is possible.

• Will there be a break?

  Breaks are very important for the unrestricted absorption of knowledge, which is why we discuss with the participants right at the beginning how the timing of the breaks suits them best. We usually have a big break of about one hour in the middle of the day and small breaks in between, depending on the span of attention.

• Does the training address individual issues and, if applicable, our own tools?

  We would like to train you as practice-oriented as possible, which is why we can respond to your use cases at any time. In the run-up to the training, we offer you a 15-minute meeting with us, in which we can briefly discuss your goals for the training and which use cases we should definitely address.
